Who Are We:
In the year 2005, while MP Singh; the founder director of Persona Consultants, was still busy with his IT & computer hardware business, he came across students as well as adults who needed a computer to prepare for their IELTS exam as a prerequisite for moving abroad either for study purpose or for better work opportunities. Some of them successfully cleared the exam and embarked on the journey to their dream destinations to pursue their careers & future opportunities, but some were not lucky enough.
When some of these unsuccessful candidates, who were not able to make it to their dream land, came back to get their PCs serviced at MP’s IT company, they shared stories of how they had fallen victim to the wrongful practices of immigration agents who hadn’t had a complete understanding of the immigration process or were not well aware of the options available for migrating to these foreign locations. This gave a major financial and psychological setback for prospective immigrants.
One such story was of Gurdeep Singh. In 2005, Gurdeep wanted to migrate to Canada as a worker to earn a good living. His father, who was a farmer, had saved some hard-earned money over the years to help Gurdeep fulfil his dreams. But the consultant whom Gurdeep approached for immigration to Canada didn’t guide him properly, and as a result, Gurdeep lost a substantial amount of money in the process & was still stranded in India.
Gurdeep’s ordeal and other such stories moved & prompted MP Singh and he saw an opportunity in what he calls “shaping careers through relocation”, and that is where Persona Consultants Pvt Ltd was born.
And yes, after getting proper guidance from Persona Consultants, Gurdeep finally moved to Canada in the year 2007 and is happily settled there with his family members, who also subsequently migrated to Canada in the due course of time.

Meet our Leaders
MP Singh, or Mahi (as he is fondly known), has been in the business of immigration and student visa for approximately two decades now. With a vision to create an organisation on which students, their parents as well as professionals can rely to get guidance and the best possible support for fulfilling their aspirations, Mahi has been constantly striving to take Persona to greater heights. Starting from scratch in 2005, when the internet was not so common and getting information was still tricky to this date when information is available at the blink of an eye, Persona Consultants has created a niche for itself and has become a well-known brand under the able leadership of Mahi. Mahipreet leads Persona, including growth opportunities within as well as outside India.
Preeti, a former member of an advisory board for Educomp Solutions Limited, became interested in the immigration sector when she encountered Mahipreet Singh in 2017, which led her to become an advisor and an expert who guided students in making informed decisions regarding opportunities in foreign countries. After witnessing cases of deception by consultants in Punjab for Canada, Preeti started counselling people on migrating to Canada via PR visas. Soon, with support of Mahi and a team of RCICs, she launched Canada PR Services at Persona. During the two challenging years of Covid 19 pandemic, Preeti simplified the process of selecting the best option for permanent residency and helped over 80+ individuals obtain PR and work visas for Canada which resulted in Persona gaining immense popularity. Preeti serves as Director, aiming to extend her supporting hands across India.
2022 was the year when Rohit saw kids of two of his close friends preparing for competitive exams like NEET & JEE, and that’s when it dawned on him that getting admission to reputed institutions in India has become a really tough task over the years. This made Rohit ponder as to why students should be under such tremendous pressure and not explore better study and career opportunities outside India? And that is where he decided about guiding students about overseas study opportunities, which can give them a promising career as well as better future prospects. With a graduation degree from NIT Bhopal, a post-graduation program from IIM Kolkata and over two decades of experience in various corporates & across industries, Rohit's responsibility is to drive Persona’s growth to newer offerings, markets and territories.
